Dear Members and Customers,

"I extend you a warm welcome on behalf of the Board of Directors of Balitikuri Co-operative Bank Ltd., it is a great privilege for me to introduce our Bank, Balitikuri Co-operative Bank Ltd. is a leading urban co-operative bank in the City of Sheffield of East, Howrah. The Bank started its journey on 26th day of April in 1974 as co-operative society and subsequently, it received the RBI License as a Bank in the year 1987. First, it started within the membership area of Balitikuri, gradually it spread its stem and based on its strong roots. During the period 1993 to 1997, the membership area of the Bank were spread beyond the Balitikuri and besides main branch, another three branches namely, Biradingi Branch, Jagadishpurhat Branch and Domjur Branch were opened. In 1995 an Extension Counter namely PDTC Extension Counter were opened at NSIC premises, subsequently, the RBI issue License to upgrade the Extension counter into Branch namely Japanigate Branch. Now, the area of operation of the Bank is entire district of Howrah.

The Bank is dedicated for socio economic development of local people as well as district and upliftment of the living condition of local people by extending the loan and financial assistance to the people. The Bank had contributed remarkably in the Socio-economical development of the area, it had designed and introduced various product to meet the requirement of the people. The Bank has firm commitment to the prosperity of the State.

To provide upgraded services to our bonafide customer, we had made over our TBA system into Core Banking Solution (CBS) System. To provide uninterrupted service to our bonafide customers, we had buildup our own Data Centre at our Bank end. Our mission and vision is only to the quality service and uninterrupted service to the customers without any hazards.

The Bank has sound corporate governance and strictly follow the instructions of regulatory authorities such as RBI, Cooperation Department, Income Tax, etc.

History:

Balitikuri Co-operative Bank Ltd. had debut as co-operative society on 26th day of April in 1974 and subsequently, it received the RBI License as a Bank in the year 1987. First, it started within the membership area of Balitikuri, gradually membership area of the Bank extended beyond the Balitikuri. Main Branch is at the registered office of the Bank at 92, Howrah-Amta Road, Balitikuri, Howrah – 711 113, Biradingi Branch is located at Biradingi, Benaras-Road, Netajigarh, Howrah-711 108, Jagadishpurhat Branch is at Jagdisjpurhat, P.O. – Jagdishpur, Howrah – 711 114, Domjur Branch (at Salap) is located at Salap Bazar, Salap, Howrah - 711 315 and Japanigate Branch is at Japanigate, Balitikuri, Howrah – 711 113.



Infrustructure:

To provide upgraded services to the customer, existing TBA system upgraded into Core Banking Solution (CBS) System. To provide uninterrupted service to the bonafide customers, the Bank had buildup its own Data Centre at the Bank end. As the Main Branch is under Local Area Net Work, so, there is no incident of connectivity failure. Therefore, main branch can provide uninterrupted service to its customers. Being the CBS enabled Bank customer can enjoy the facility of any Branch Banking. The mission and vision of the Bank is to provide uninterrupted service to its customers without any hazards.

Banking Services:

Balitikuri Co-operative Bank Ltd. is a leading urban co-operative bank in the city of Sheffield of East, Howrah. It is the friendly banker of the customers and members. The bank is renowned in the area for its prompt counter service. Bank provides 7 days banking facilities to its customers. , Any Branch Banking facility is available. Being CBS enabled bank, the customer of any branch can make transaction from any of the branches of the bank at any time during transaction hours. We care our customers intensively. The Board of Directors and most of the Delegates members are dedicatedly involved with the Bank for the Customers.

Branch Timing : The Bank has five Branches, Besides morning and evening session, there has day section at the Main Branch of the Bank. Customers hours of the Main Branch is 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. in morning session and 6.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. in evening session, Sunday time schedule is 7.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., Weekly close day of the Main Branch is Monday. Day section open from Monday to Saturday with time schedule 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m., Saturday time schedule of Day section is from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., Sunday is the close Day of Section. The Bank has four other branches namely, Biradingi Branch, Jagadishpurhat Branch, Domjur Branch (at Salap) and Japanigate Branch. All these have two sessions. Time schedule of all the Branches except Jagadishpurhat Branch is 7.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. in morning and 5.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. in evening. Time schedule of Jagadishpurhat Branch is 12.30 p.m. to 03.00 p.m. in 1st Session and 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. in 2nd Session. Sunday time schedule of all the Branches is 7.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. Weekly close day of all the Branches is Monday.

Locker Facility : Locker facility is available of all the branches of the Bank except Japanigate Branch.

Deposits : Deposits products of the Bank are Savings Deposits, Current Deposits, Fixed Deposits, Monthly Income Scheme (MIS), Cash Certificates, Recurring Deposits, Daily Deposits (NND).

Loan : Loan products are Gold Loan, Cash Credit Loan, Industrial Loan, Mortgage Loan, House Building Loan, Car Loan, Service Security Loan, Loan against Government Securities, Loan against Bank own Term Deposits.

ATM FACILITY : The Bank has 24*7 ATM facility at HO & Main Branch. Customers and members of the Bank can enjoy the facility.

Cheque Clearing : CTS and non-CTS clearing facilities are available. Bank is the clearing sub member of UCO Bank.

NEFT / RTGS : On line fund transfer facilities through NEFT / RTGS are available. Customer can avail the facility of on-line fund transfer. Bank is the sub-member of payment & settlement system of RBI. Sponsor Bank is HDFC Bank Ltd. IFSC Code is HDFC0CBCBMN.

LPG Subsidy : Direct Benefit Transfer of LPG (DBTL) subsidy is available. Customer can avail the facility for transfer of LPG subsidy to their Savings Bank Account by seeding their ‘AADHAAR’ number in the account.

Pay Order : Pay order facility is available.

Bank Guarantee : Facility of Bank Guarantee is available.

GST Payment : Customer can paid their GST through the Bank.
